KEY OBJECTIVES:

We are currently seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and reliable Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) to join our Montessori Program.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support the lead teacher in implementing daily classroom activities aligned with Montessori principles
- Assist in creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning workplace
- Promote children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment in accordance with all safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with team members and contribute positively to the workplace culture

QUALIFICATIONS:

- RECE in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators
- Preferably someone who has previous Montessori or group childcare experience
- Strong understanding of child development and early learning practices
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Flexible, adaptable, and able to respond to the changing needs of a busy classroom




- Commitment to maintaining a safe and respectful environment for children and staff
- Must have adequate energy level and ability to meet the physical demands of position
- Valid Standard First Aid and CPR certification (completed at time of hiring or shortly afterwards)
- Updated Health Assessment and Immunization
- Clear Police Reference Check for Vulnerable Sector (completed within 6 months of employment)
- Additional language of the French language would be an asset
