Dispatcher/Office Administrator (Maternity Leave Coverage)

We are a plastics recycling facility that is currently looking for a dispatcher/office administrator to cover a maternity leave.

We offer full-time steady day shifts Monday to Friday, September to May long weekend 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., after long weekend in May until Labour Day 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with health and dental advantages (after 90-day probationary period).

Role:

- Handling customer inquiries with professionalism

- Coordinating and dispatching multiple freight carriers effectively

- Responding quickly and effectively to urgent situations

- Maintain accurate logs, records, and misc. spreadsheets

- Perform other clerical duties such as answering phones, filing, photocopying, scanning, tracking employee time, and mailing samples

- Order supplies, and maintain inventory of supplies for office, cleaning,



and facility

Requirements:

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Ability to organize, multitask, prioritize and work under pressure

- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel)

- Previous dispatching, logistics, or administrative experience (preferred not required)

- Must be able to speak and write fluent english

- Must be able to provide own transportation

Pay: From $19.50 per hour

Expected hours: 42.5 per week
