Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

- Operate industrial paper bag manufacturing machines efficiently and safely.
- Adjust machine settings during bag size changeovers, minimizing downtime while maintaining product specifications.
- Meet or exceed daily production targets in accordance with operational goals.
- Troubleshoot and perform minor mechanical adjustments to ensure product quality and maintain optimal machine run speeds.
- Complete daily shift activity reports and communicate results and progress to upper management.
- Responsible for cleaning and routine maintenance of bag machines to ensure operational readiness.
- Assist in delegating workflow within the team and coordinate with management on disciplinary actions when necessary.
- Prepare and maintain accurate production records.
- Develop and implement standardized work systems and process documentation.
- Perform other tasks as directed by plant management.

Qualifications:





- Minimum of five years of experience operating a paper bag manufacturing machine.
- Ability to read and write straightforward instructions and effectively communicate with team members and supervisors.
- Capable of interpreting technical documents, including safety protocols, operating procedures, and maintenance manuals.
- Demonstrated commitment to working safely with a strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Strong mechanical aptitude; ability to perform physical tasks including some lifting.
- Excellent time management skills; dependable, punctual, and reliable.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
