Overview

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Manager Assistant to support the Warehouse Manager in daily warehouse operations. The successful candidate will help coordinate warehouse activities, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure smooth workflow in a fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, and eager to grow in warehouse operations and leadership.

Responsibilities

- Assist the Warehouse Manager in recruiting, training, and onboarding new hires

- Support daily warehouse operations and assist staff with tasks as needed

- Help assign work schedules and timesheets for warehouse employees

- Prepare and review lists of outgoing shipments and coordinate timely dispatch

- Oversee the reception, sorting, labeling, and storage of incoming materials

- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and transport companies to ensure smooth operations





- Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies

- Assist in monitoring compliance with safety regulations and company policies

- Operate basic warehouse equipment and IT systems under supervision

Requirements

- 2 years more warehouse or logistics experience preferred

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

- Ability to work in a fast-paced physical workplace

- Basic knowledge of inventory systems and Microsoft Office

- Good communication and teamwork skills

- Problem-solving ability and a proactive attitude

- Forklift certification is an asset

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.60 per hour
