Duties
- Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, slicing and portioning to meet recipe specifications
- Assist with and execute pickling and canning process
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, utensils, and storage areas
- Follow food safety guidelines to ensure proper handling, storage, and sanitation practices
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure readiness for production
- Collaborate with team members to uphold high standards of food quality and presentation
- Label finished products
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of food prep or line cook experience
- Time management skills and organization
- Knowledge of food handling safety procedures and sanitation standards
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and bending
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to cleanliness and organization
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn recent techniques related to food preparation and cooking processes
