We are looking for an individual with an interest in establishing a career in the food industry, someone who wants to acquire the knowledge of meat preparation and sausage making. The successful candidate will be a self-driven individual with a willingness to learn and grow within the organization. Overview

This role involves producing meat and food products including cutting, trimming, and preparing meats, along with flavouring and producing specialty sausages.



This is a full-time position in a growing industry,
commencing immediately.

Responsibilities

- Preparing various meat products and processed meats
- Preparing food products and specialty items for the retail counter
- Preparation and packaging in the processing areas
- Following all food safety standards and sanitation procedures
- Adjusting and fine tuning production equipment
- Keeping the work area tidy and clean

Experience

- Prior experience in the food industry, particularly in food preparation or butchery, is highly preferred
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper handling procedures
- Kitchen experience that demonstrates comfort working in a fast-paced environment
- Robust ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers

Farming, hunting, or kitchen experience is an asset, but not required.
