ACI Air Cargo Inc. is currently looking to recruit a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team at our Montreal location.

General Job Summary

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for coordinating shipping/receiving, inventory control, warehouse maintenance, and planning and managing an expanded team. The Warehouse Supervisor is also responsible for driving results, building an effective team and leading continuous improvements.

Principle Functions/Responsibilities

· Timely and accurate identification/verification, piece count, calculated dimensional weight, breakdown, sorting, bunking, scanning, completion of warehouse receipts, and labelling for both Inbound and Outbound freights as required

· Establish Load Plan adhering to delivery, weight, and D.G. restrictions and procedures

· Ensure proper staffing during times of vacation, etc. This includes monitoring the cross-training process of supporting staff to ensure consistency in job functions & skills

· Adhere to load departure schedules, and co-ordinate warehouse manpower and equipment to meet the requirements

· Complete Dangerous goods compliances when required

· Complete Overage, Shortage, and Damage reports when required

· Advise Business Manager – Special Projects of safety issues

· Maintain the safety,



cleanliness and organization of the warehouse

· Carry out any tasks that may be assigned by the Business Manager – Special Projects in an effective and timely manner

Competency Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, other Attributes)

· Robust leadership and people management skills through supervising, providing feedback and mentoring or skills development

· Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

· Strong computer skills with expert knowledge of MS Office (Excel in particular)

· Ability to apply sound judgement to day-to-day processes and take initiative

· Proficiency in conflict management and problem solving

· Exceptional time management skills as well as organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines

· Proficient customer service skills and knowledge of customer service principles and practices

· Proficient in the development of direct reports

Education, Training, Experience Requirements

· High school diploma or GED or equivalent

· Minimum 3-5 years warehouse experience with at least 3 years as a supervisor

· Valid Class G Driver’s license





· Lift truck license/certification

· Propane handling training

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
