Position Title: Massage Therapist

Reports To: Lodge Manager

Location: Bella Coola Heli Sports lodges, Remote (shift work)

Schedule: 15 days on, 6 or 13 days off (approximately)

Terms: Seasonal Full-Time (December-April)

Compensation: $65 per massage + $20/hr for labour

Bella Coola Heli Sports operates in the glaciated wilderness of BC’s central coast. We provide world-class skiing in the winter, and connect our guests with incredible wilderness adventures in the summer. We operate from three remote properties, one of which is in the Tatla Lake region of the Chilcotin’s and two which are in the Bella Coola Valley. We boast the largest heli-skiing tenure of any operator in the world and our Himalayan like mountains draw outdoor enthusiasts from around the world.

Job Description

We are looking for a compassionate, professional, and guest-focused Massage Therapist who is passionate about helping guests recover, recharge, and fully enjoy their mountain adventure. As a Massage Therapist at Bella Coola Heli Sports, you play an integral role in delivering an elevated wellness experience that complements our world-class heli-skiing program.

Working in our remote mountain lodge, you'll provide therapeutic and recovery-focused treatments tailored to each guest's individual needs while creating an atmosphere of calm, comfort, and genuine care. Beyond the treatment room, you'll support the overall guest experience by assisting with spa operations, maintaining treatment spaces, and contributing to shared lodge responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

Guest Wellness & Massage Therapy

- Deliver exceptional massage therapy treatments tailored to each guest's needs, activity level, and wellness goals.
- Create a welcoming, relaxing,



and personalized treatment experience from arrival through departure.
- Maintain accurate and confidential treatment records in accordance with professional standards.
- Guide guests through a daily morning stretch routine using the company template to set them up for their winter activities.
- Manage the complete preparation and clean-up of the stretch class space, including setting up mats, moving and restoring equipment, spraying down and rolling up mats, and vacuuming or mopping the area as needed.
- Educate guests on recovery techniques, stretching, mobility, and self-care strategies to enhance their mountain experience.
- Maintain a clean, calming, and professional treatment environment that reflects Bella Coola Heli Sports' luxury hospitality standards.

Spa Operations & Facility Care

- Maintain exceptional cleanliness throughout all spa and wellness areas.
- Launder, organize, and restock spa linens, towels, blankets, and treatment supplies.

Operational Support & Team Collaboration

- Coordinate daily treatment schedules with Reception and Guest Services to provide a seamless guest experience.
- Support guest arrival and departure days by assisting with shared lodge responsibilities when massage appointments allow.
- Assist the housekeeping team on changeover days, with spa linen laundry, ironing napkins and pillowcases, and other operational tasks as needed.
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative workplace where teamwork, flexibility, and accountability are valued.

- Deliver every treatment with professionalism, empathy, and genuine care.
- Maintain active professional registration and adhere to all regulatory, ethical, and privacy standards.




- Demonstrate exceptional communication skills while building trust and rapport with guests.
- Promote guest safety by following established health, sanitation, and treatment protocols.
- Represent Bella Coola Heli Sports through reliability, positivity, and a commitment to authentic hospitality and wellness.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 3 years of professional massage therapy experience in a spa, wellness, hospitality, or clinical setting.
- Strong knowledge of therapeutic, relaxation, and recovery-focused massage techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a genuine passion for guest care and hospitality.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills in a dynamic hospitality setting.
- Physically capable of performing multiple treatments per day while maintaining exceptional service standards.
- Comfortable living and working in a remote mountain lodge environment.
- Applicants must be Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents.

Preferred:

- Experience in luxury hospitality, remote lodges, resorts, or adventure tourism.
- Knowledge of sports recovery, stretching, mobility, and injury prevention techniques.
