Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to recipes and standards
- Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining quality, consistency, and presentation
- Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times
- Support the kitchen team in maintaining cleanliness, organization, and sanitation standards
- Assist with plating dishes and ensuring timely service to guests
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to management
- Uphold excellent food service practices by working collaboratively with front-of-house staff
Experience
- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen safety standards
- Knowledge of food handling regulations and proper sanitation procedures
- Experience with serving guests in a fast-paced environment is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently as part of a team in a busy kitchen setting
