General Labour – Food Cooling & Production Assistant

HalalMeals Ready Foods Ltd. is looking for a reliable, hardworking, and physically fit individual to join our production team as a General Labour – Food Cooling & Production Assistant.

This role is critical to our food production process and involves safely handling cooked food during the cooling stage while maintaining food safety standards.

Responsibilities

- Transfer cooked food from large cooking batches into smaller containers for rapid cooling.
- Move food safely between hot and cold production areas.
- Monitor and follow food cooling procedures and temperature requirements.
- Lift, carry, and move heavy containers of food throughout the production facility.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures at all times.
- Assist with general production duties as assigned.
- Work efficiently with the production team to meet daily production targets.

Requirements

- Physically solid and capable of lifting heavy containers repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Able to work in both hot and cold environments.




- Comfortable working long shifts when production requires.
- Knowledge of safe food temperatures and cooling procedures is required.
- Good decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions carefully.
- Experience in a commercial kitchen or food manufacturing environment is considered an asset.

Training

Comprehensive training on our production processes will be provided. However, applicants should already have a basic understanding of food temperature control and safe food handling practices.
