Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team. The Line Cook will be responsible for preparing delicious meals according to menu specifications in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food
- Cook and plate menu items accurately and efficiently
- Ensure all dishes are prepared in a timely manner while maintaining high-quality standards
- Assist with food inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures at all times
Requirements:
- Proven experience working as a Line Cook or in a similar role
- Knowledge of food safety guidelines and procedures
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Experience in a restaurant or food service industry is preferred
