POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the planning and implementation of specific projects.
- Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables.
- Define project tasks and resource requirements.
- Plan and schedule project timelines.
- Assemble and coordinate project staff.
- Manage project budget.
- Manage project resource allocation.
- Track project deliverables using appropriate tools.
- Provide direction and support to project team.
- Develop and maintain a relationship with the customer that reflects a partnership approach and demonstrates sound understanding of the customer’s needs. Develops a customer service culture throughout the project. Effectively resolves problems and concerns of the client.
- Ensure quality assurance goals are achieved.
- Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders.
- Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions.
- Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
- Conduct project evaluations and assessments of results.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in project management.
- Post-secondary education in chemical or mechanical engineering or related technical discipline.
- Direct work experience in the design and/or fabrication of custom process equipment.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical equipment design and documentation requirements an asset
- Knowledge of project management techniques and tools.
- Proven experience in risk and change management.
- Skillful use of software tools such as Microsoft Office, Visio, Microsoft Project or equivalent
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Normal office environment with frequent sitting, standing and walking around the floor.
- Required to use safety and personal protective equipment when on production floor.
- Some travel required. Some overtime required
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $100,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
