We are seeking an energetic and friendly Cashier/Server for Mondays only, to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be the welcoming face of our establishment, providing exceptional customer service while efficiently handling food orders, payments, and serving duties. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and assist with menu selections, upselling items to enhance their experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using Micros POS or similar point-of-sale systems
- Prepare and serve food items according to safety and sanitation standards, including basic food preparation tasks
- Handle cash transactions efficiently, ensuring accurate cash handling and processing payments through POS systems
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including food handling stations and dining spaces
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring satisfaction
- Support kitchen staff with food preparation when needed and ensure proper food safety practices are followed
- Closing cleanup
Experience
- Training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar technology is advantageous
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously in a busy workplace
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and order calculations accurately
