Fort Garry Fire Trucks Rubber Division has been proud to support our customers across a wide variety of industries, including food processing, paper converting, print, package handling, plastics, metals, agriculture, and mining since 1919. Fort Garry Fire Trucks Rubber Division is looking to hire a full-time General Labourer. As a General Labourer in the Rubber Division, you will be part of the team responsible for completing manufactured rubber products.

Responsibilities and Duties Include:

- Completing rubber work after the work is laid out by the supervisor or senior employee
- Working with several types of machinery
- Using basic power and hand tools
- Cleaning up work area
- Assisting with additional duties as assigned

Applicant Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Legally entitled to work in Manitoba
- Fluent spoken and written English and good interpersonal communication skills




- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds individually or 100 pounds with assistance
- Experience reading basic drawings and interpreting the data to select suitable material types
- Experience verifying dimensions using measuring instruments (tape measures, rulers, framing and T-squares) for layouts
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Reliable transportation: busing is not available at our location
