Delivery Driver (Hourly Employee)

Kindling Cannabis – Milton is looking for a reliable, customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our growing team! This role is ideal for individuals looking for flexible part-time or casual employment while providing excellent service to our customers.

Job Overview

As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering cannabis orders to customers while ensuring compliance with AGCO regulations and company policies. You will use your own reliable vehicle and a smartphone application for navigation and delivery tracking.

This is an hourly wage employee position with competitive pay and the opportunity to earn additional income through customer tips.

Compensation

- Hourly Wage: $19.50 per hour
- Customer Tips: Keep 100% of customer tips received
- Vacation Pay: 4% of gross earnings will be banked as vacation pay in accordance with Ontario Employment Standards Act (ESA) requirements
- Standard payroll deductions will apply, including CPP, EI, and applicable income taxes

Availability Requirement

Flexible availability between: 9:30 AM – 11:00 PM

Schedules may vary based on business needs, customer demand, and delivery volume.

Responsibilities

- Safely operate your own reliable vehicle to complete customer deliveries
- Deliver orders accurately, efficiently, and professionally
- Follow assigned delivery routes using Google Maps or Apple Maps
- Provide excellent customer service during every delivery interaction
- Verify delivery information and maintain accurate delivery records
- Follow all AGCO cannabis delivery regulations and company procedures
- Report any delivery issues, customer concerns, or vehicle-related issues promptly

Requirements

- Must have a valid CanSell Certification before starting (can be completed within 24 hours)
- Minimum age of 19 years (as required by AGCO regulations)
- Own a reliable vehicle for deliveries
- Valid G or G2 driver’s license
- Minimum 1 year of Canadian driving experience
- Own an Android or iOS smartphone with an active data plan
- Comfortable using GPS applications such as Google Maps or Apple Maps
- Fluent in English (required)
- Available for immediate start

Education & Experience

- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of delivery driving experience (required)

License/Certification

- CanSell Certification (Mandatory)
