Duties

- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent service during checkout, answering questions and assisting with product inquiries
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges efficiently
- Handle cash, credit/debit cards, and other payment methods with precision and integrity
- Maintain organized cashier stations and ensure all merchandise is properly scanned and bagged
- Support merchandising efforts by restocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product availability
- Uphold store policies on cleanliness, safety,



and security protocols to protect both customers and staff
- Upsell relevant products or promotions to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales

Requirements

- Previous cashiering or retail sales experience preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse customers in English; bilingual abilities are a plus
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and balancing cash drawers at shift end
- Excellent organizational skills to manage time effectively during busy periods
- Ability to stand for extended periods, walk throughout the store, and lift moderate loads when necessary
- Demonstrated customer service orientation with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic merchandising practices is advantageous
