Physiotherapist

Role Overview

The Physiotherapist is responsible for assessing physical function, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering evidence‑based interventions that help clients restore mobility, reduce pain, and improve overall physical well‑being. This full‑time clinical role involves working directly with clients who present with musculoskeletal conditions, workplace injuries, motor‑vehicle accident‑related impairments, and sports‑related concerns. The position requires strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high‑quality care within a collaborative setting.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Assessment & Treatment

- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients with musculoskeletal, movement, and functional limitations.
- Develop personalized treatment plans using evidence‑based physiotherapy practices.
- Deliver manual therapy, therapeutic exercise programs, and other appropriate modalities.
- Provide clear education on posture, movement mechanics, injury prevention, and lifestyle modifications.
- Support clients recovering from workplace injuries, automobile accidents, and sports‑related conditions.

Client Care & Collaboration

- Document treatment plans, progress notes, and clinical outcomes with accuracy and timeliness.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.




- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, client‑centered care.
- Foster a supportive, positive clinic environment focused on client success and engagement.

Professional Standards & Clinic Support

- Maintain compliance with regulatory, ethical, and professional practice standards.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and stay current with physiotherapy best practices.
- Utilize electronic medical records and clinic systems to support efficient workflow.
- Contribute to clinic initiatives that enhance service quality and operational effectiveness.

Qualifications

- Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent from an accredited institution.
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physiotherapist in Ontario.
- Strong clinical skills in assessment, treatment planning, and evidence‑based intervention.
- Experience treating musculoskeletal, sports, workplace, and motor‑vehicle injuries.
- Ability to deliver clear, supportive client education on exercise, posture, and injury prevention.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship‑building skills.
- Strong time management, documentation accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Experience in a clinical setting; familiarity with electronic medical records is an asset.

Pay: $45.00-$55.00 per hour
