Qualifications – Ontario Healthcare Facility

- Current registration in good standing with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO)
- Current registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) is considered an asset
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: 1-month assignment with possibility of extension
- Must be available to participate in an on-call rotation
- Accommodations: Provided
- Travel: Covered
- Hours: 7.5-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, with weekend day shifts available based on operational needs

Responsibilities:
Medical Radiation Technologists are required to adhere to the scope of practice as defined by the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

- Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations in accordance with physician orders and established imaging protocols
- Operate and maintain diagnostic imaging equipment while ensuring high-quality imaging standards
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support timely and accurate patient diagnosis
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records in accordance with organizational and regulatory requirements
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards, infection prevention protocols,



and professional practice guidelines while participating in the on-call rotation as required

Note: Duties may vary slightly based on facility and shift, with specific guidance provided during site orientation.

Experience:

- Current registration in valuable standing with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO) (required)
- Previous Canadian Medical Radiation Technologist experience is preferred
- Familiarity with electronic health record and PACS/RIS systems is an asset
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment
- Strong clinical judgment and adaptability in a rural healthcare setting

- Strong attention to detail for accurate imaging, documentation, and patient care
