Position Title: Fulfillment Associate

Job Type: Full-time or Part-time

Pay: Starting @ $21/ (Salary). Contract during probation period. Pay will increase with competency

Expected Hours: 7 hours/day (10am to 5pm). 5 days per week. Monday to Friday. Flexible schedule if part time.

No work holidays or weekends. PTO

Work Location: In-person

Benefits: Paid holiday/paid sick days. Flexible PTO.

Primary Function:

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including order processing, managing the shipping and receiving of palletized shipments, and maintaining organized inventory. This position plays a key role in ensuring prompt order fulfillment while fostering a clean and organized work environment. The ideal candidate demonstrates the ability to work independently, is detail-oriented, confidently able to lift a minimum of 60 pounds, and committed to promoting a safe and efficient workplace.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Order Fulfillment

- Processing customer orders which includes transfer of essential oils, vegetable oils, and other plant-based materials from drums (up to 180kg) into smaller containers, and packing the completed order for shipment
- Accurately selecting, packing, and palletizing orders in accordance with packing slips and specified instructions




- Preparing liquid blends by following provided formulations
- Sanitizing all utensils and tools used in the process, such as beakers and funnels.

2. Warehouse Operations Support

- Receive, unload, and organize incoming inventory
- Operate semi-electric straddle stackers and pump trucks to facilitate the loading, unloading, and movement of inventory as required
- Adhere to all warehouse safety protocols and equipment operating guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Organize and maintain inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Communicate professionally and respectfully with colleagues and supervisors.
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with coworkers and supervisors.
- Assist with various warehouse tasks and projects as assigned, contributing to the overall efficiency of operations.
- Keep the warehouse clean and safe at all times, and promptly report any safety concerns or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.

3. Inventory Control Assistance

- Assist in conducting regular physical inventory counts.
- Report stock shortages, damaged, or misplaced products to the Warehouse Supervisor.
- Help ensure accurate labeling and inventory tracking.

4. Compounding

- Dedicated attention when handling Plant’s Power Inc. Inventory: essential oil, carrier oils, hydrosols, plant based butters.
- Following WHMIS guidelines when handling inventory.
- Mixing/blending inventory based on provided formula.
- Packaging inventory and/or liquid blends into designated vessels. Vessel sizes range from 100ml glass bottle to 180kg drum.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- WHMIS training

Experience:





- 1–2 years of experience in a kitchen/warehouse/lab/ or similar operational role preferred, e.g. Hospitality industry, pharmaceutical production, cosmetic production, agriculture.

Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

- Ability to lift up to 60lbs and perform physical tasks safely.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in order processing.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Proficient in spoken and written English
- Proficient in both Metric and Imperial measurement systems
- Basic understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Driver's license
- Familiarity with basic construction tools ie hammer, saw, tape measure
