Responsibilities
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients
- Support chefs and kitchen staff in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment promptly and efficiently
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth workflow
- Help with organizing storage areas and disposing of waste properly
- Follow all safety and hygiene protocols to maintain a safe working environment
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation when required
Requirements
- Prior experience in a kitchen or food service setting is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Ability to work efficiently in a team setting and follow instructions carefully
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety standards
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting light loads
- Flexibility to work during scheduled shifts, including weekends if necessary
- Basic knowledge of food safety regulations is advantageous but not required
Candidates with a G Driving Licence who can assist with deliveries are preferred.
