Position: Manager / Sales Technician - Arborist 444a OR Utility Arborist 444b or ISA Certified Arborist

Location: Westport, ON

Employment type: Full- time position with paid time off.

Compensation: $90,000 / year plus advantages, RRSP contributions, Yearly bonus, approved time off, paid training, willing to reimburse ISA fees, company vehicle, phone, computer.

Requirements / Experience / Qualifications:

- Minimum ten years in forestry / arboriculture

- Lead by example

- Sales / quoting experience

- Computer and software experience

- Scheduling; your tasks and crews’ tasks, daily / weekly / monthly

- Experience as a manager / owner / crew lead

- Equipment and tool experience related to the trade

- DZ / AZ / ARZ licence

- Client and public relations

- Coaching and training

- Safety and performance management

- Valid 444a and or 444b and or ISA Certificate

- Wear all required PPE

- Experience in pruning and removing trees in any terrain and in all weather conditions

- Technical rigging and climbing are a must

- Ownership of personal climbing gear

- Utility Experience is an asset

- Boaters licence is an asset

- Any other training / experiences and certifications related to forestry / utility / arboriculture / horticulture are assets and could be compensated for.

Our main work consists of tree removal and pruning for residential, utility and commercial clients, also offering tree planting, tree health care, reporting / consulting, land clearing, firewood / mulch / lumber sales.

Madden Tree is looking for a manager who is experienced and knowledgeable in the trade. The goal is to relieve some of the duties from the owner and office admin to allow growth within the company.

Equipment – Bucket trucks, track lift, track chipper, large chippers with winches, mini skid steers (multiple attachments), tractor (multiple attachments), mini excavator (multiple attachments), Chipper trucks, pickups, sales car, Grapple saw knuckle boom, knuckle boom / crane, skidder, trailers, stumpers, boats, hand tools, saws, rigging gear, ect.
