We are seeking a dynamic and detailed oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. You will assist the on-site pharmacist with clerical needs and deliver exceptional customer service. Some of the responsibilities are:
- Greet customers, book appointments, and answer basic questions
- Answer phones, organize faxes and operate cash register
- Input customer and prescription information using the Kroll software
- Count pills, labels bottles and compound medications as directed
- Take and track inventory, restock when needed
- Place orders for additional drugs as directed by the pharmacist
- Assist in organizing and shelving medicine
- Prepare billing information for medications
- Frequently clean, sanitize the workspace area both behind the counter and outside area
Requirements and Qualifications
- Computer-literate and proficient in using software, Kroll
- Previous experience working in a pharmacy will be preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Experience using POS systems
- Available to work adaptable hrs on weekdays and weekends
