About the Role
We're looking for an energetic, friendly, and reliable Barista / All Rounder to join The Hut team! If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, love connecting with people, and are passionate about healthy food and beverages, we'd love to meet you.

In this role, you'll prepare smoothies, coffees, matcha, bowls, and other menu items while delivering exceptional customer service and helping maintain a clean, organized store. Every shift is different, so we're looking for someone who enjoys staying busy and working as part of a supportive team.

Responsibilities

- Prepare smoothies, smoothie bowls, coffees, matcha, and other menu items to The Hut's quality standards.
- Deliver friendly, genuine customer service and create a welcoming experience for every guest.
- Accurately process orders using our Square POS system.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked store throughout each shift.
- Follow food safety, cleanliness, and opening/closing procedures.
- Restock ingredients, retail products, and packaging throughout the day.
- Learn our menu, ingredients, and product benefits to confidently answer customer questions.




- Work efficiently with your team during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail.
- Assist with daily cleaning and other tasks to keep the store running smoothly

Requirements

- Previous experience preparing espresso-based beverages, working as a barista, or in a food service role is an asset but not required. Training will be provided for the right candidate
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Square for efficient cashiering.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable attitude
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask in a rapid-paced environment
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations is an asset
- Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required (weekend availability is required)
- Food Handler Certificate is an asset but not required
