Warehouse Associate /Shipping and Receiving

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dependable Shipper/Receiver to manage warehouse shipments, maintain accurate inventory, and support daily operational needs. This role is essential for ensuring timely and accurate handling of all materials and products.
Receiving & Inspection:
- Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, damage, and compliance
- Verify quantities and condition of products
- Record and report discrepancies or damaged goods
- Label, tag, and store products in designated areas
Shipping & Order Fulfillment:
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment
- Operate labeling equipment and generate shipping documentation
- Load and unload trucks safely
- Ensure shipments meet quality and safety standards
Inventory & Material Handling:
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and assist with cycle counts
- Organize and store products efficiently
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and warehouse equipment safely
- Track and report inventory discrepancies
Equipment & Maintenance:
- Conduct daily inspections of tools and equipment
- Perform basic maintenance and report issues
- Maintain a clean and safe work workplace
Documentation & Reporting:
- Keep accurate records of shipments, stock movements, and adjustments
- Report delays or operational issues to the supervisor
- Collaborate with team members and departments for smooth operations
Experience & Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse operations
- Valid forklift ticket and proven experience operating warehouse equipment
- Familiarity with inventory management systems is an asset
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Schedule & Compensation:
- Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Overtime available
- $20 – $23/hour
