Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
- Handle cash and credit transactions efficiently, maintaining accurate cash handling and cashiering procedures
- Assist in food preparation and serving, ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are upheld at all times
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations following sanitation protocols
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure prompt delivery of orders and address any special dietary needs or requests
- Manage time effectively during busy hours to serve multiple tables efficiently while providing exceptional guest services
Requirements
- Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus
- Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Ability to handle food safely, including proper food handling and sanitation practices
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and making change accurately
- Experience in food preparation or kitchen environments is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in fast-paced settings while maintaining high-quality service
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed in a hospitality environment
