ERTH Power is pleased to announce an immediate opening for a Collections/Payment Clerk, located at our Ingersoll Operations Centre.

The hourly rate for his role is based on the current collective agreement: $30.51 start progressing to $38.14

Position Summary

Reporting to the Manager, Customer Service, the Collections/Payments Clerk plays a crucial role for efficiently maintaining the customer service activities of the collections and payments operations, including but not limited to:

General Duties and Responsibilities:

- Responding to customer and account inquiries
- Administer the collection, disconnect, deposit and privacy policies
- Payment processing and daily reconciliation




- Maintaining detail communication logs
- Office administration including mail processing, documentation, credit checks, complete locate request forms

Required Qualifications

- Minimum Secondary School Diploma
- Utility experience preferred
- As this is a public facing role, solid and effective professional communication skills are required
- Sound judgement and reasoning skills
- Basic to intermediate computer skills with a proven familiarity with Work, Excel, Outlook
- Strong attention to detail and proven accuracy in work
