# Pest Control & Mosquito Technician CWAY Pest Control Services is looking for a reliable, motivated Pest Control & Mosquito Technician to join our growing team serving Brockville and the surrounding area. This position is ideal for someone with previous pest control experience or an individual who holds an Ontario Ministry of the Workplace (MOE) Pesticide Applicator Licence (Core/Technician). We are also willing to consider the right candidate who is eager to learn and build a long-term career in the industry. Our work includes residential and commercial pest management, along with mosquito and tick control throughout the summer season. We offer a variety of services, providing excellent opportunities to expand your skills and knowledge.
## What You'll Do
* Perform inspections to identify pest activity, entry points, and contributing conditions.
* Develop and carry out effective treatment plans for residential and commercial customers.
* Apply pesticides safely and in accordance with all provincial regulations and company procedures.
* Perform mosquito and tick control applications during the summer season.
* Educate customers on prevention strategies and recommend long-term solutions.
* Complete service reports and maintain accurate treatment records.
* Maintain company equipment and vehicle in a clean, professional condition.
* Provide outstanding customer service while representing the company professionally.
* Continue learning new treatment methods, products, and industry best practices.
Qualifications
* Ontario MOE Pesticide Applicator Licence (Core/Technician) is considered a strong asset.
* Previous pest control or mosquito control experience is preferred.
* Experience in landscaping, lawn care, wildlife control, exterior cleaning, or another outdoor service trade is also an asset.
* Valid Ontario driver's licence with a clean driving record.
* Strong communication and customer service skills.
* Self-motivated and able to work independently.
* Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
* Physically capable of carrying equipment and performing outdoor work throughout the day.
* Detail-oriented, dependable, and professional.
