We are seeking a skilled Pizza Cook to join our team in a wood fired pizzeria. The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation and execution of high-quality dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Minimum 2 years kitchen experience required, having worked in a pizzeria/italian restaurant with a wood fired pizza oven would be a bonus.

Duties:

- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and chopping

- Assist in cooking and preparing menu items according to set recipes

- Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment

- Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served

- Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen

- Monitor stock levels and communicate with the Head Chef to place orders

Experience





- Proven experience as a Pizza Cook/Line Cook in a restaurant or similar environment

- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures

- Understanding of food safety practices

- Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment
