Tuesday- 8:00am-6:00pm

Wednesday- 8:00am-6:00pm

Thursday- 8:00am- 5:00pm

Friday- 8:00am-5:00pm

Occasional evenings and Weekends

The position offers a full-time schedule of 36 hours per week. The schedule may vary between and Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday schedule.

The Cape Breton Dental Group is a small group of locally owned and managed dental offices within the CBRM. We have offices located in Downtown Sydney, North Sydney, Sydney Mines & New Waterford.

The opportunity:

The Cape Breton Dental Group is currently looking to hire a Registered Dental Hygienist to join our busy and well-established group of practices. The successful candidate will have a passion for building strong patient relationships and contributing to their ongoing oral health. As we prepare to move into our new clinic, we will other full time through our well establish clinics. with the full-time permanent position being located at our new clinic in Downtown Sydney.

Responsibilities:

· Assessment: Ability to complete initial and ongoing patient assessment





· Knowledge integration: Integrates best practice and current research evidence to support qualified practice decisions.

· Critical thinking: Ability to problem solve via critical thinking and decision-making skills.

· Management: Organizational skills to manage time and resources efficiently.

· Teamwork: Demonstrates ability to foster teamwork and commitment to providing excellent patient care.

Requirements:

· Education from an accredited School of Dental Hygiene

· Be in good standing with the College of Dental Hygienists of Nova Scotia

· Valid CPR
