Summary

We are seeking a Collection Agent to join our team in Canada. This role is vital in helping us maintain our commitment to excellence by managing client accounts and ensuring timely collections from debtors. The Collection Agent will play a key part in upholding our company's reputation for integrity and professionalism.
Responsibilities

- Contact clients via phone and email to collect outstanding payments.
- Negotiate payment plans and settlement agreements with debtors.
- Maintain accurate records of all collection activities using accounting software.
- Analyze account histories to identify delinquent accounts and prioritize collection efforts.
- Collaborate with the customer service team to resolve disputes and inquiries.




- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and company policies during collection processes.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in accounts receivable or collections.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency with accounting software and data entry.
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of financial regulations related to debt collection is a plus.
