Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and bilingual (English & Spanish) Construction Labourer to join our dynamic construction team. This role involves assisting with various construction projects, supporting skilled trades, and ensuring safety and efficiency on-site. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, the ability to follow instructions, and familiarity with construction tools and techniques. Prior experience in construction is preferred but not required; training will be provided to the right candidate.

Responsibilities

- Assist with general construction tasks including material handling, site cleanup, and setup of work areas
- Support skilled trades such as carpentry, masonry, electrical, plumbing, and concrete finishing
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to assist with project execution
- Perform concrete forming, finishing, and tile laying as needed
- Assist with installation of cabinets, flooring, and other fixtures
- Support restoration and renovation projects including caulking, painting, and drywall work
- Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a secure work workplace for all team members




- Communicate effectively in both English and Spanish to coordinate tasks and ensure clear understanding among team members

Skills

- Bilingual proficiency in English & Spanish is essential for effective communication on-site
- Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating is a plus
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, concrete forming, masonry, carpentry, welding, electrical work, plumbing, flooring installation, tile laying, and cabinet installation is desirable
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely (training provided if necessary)
- Familiarity with construction safety standards and protocols
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
- Attention to detail for precise work such as caulking and concrete finishing
