Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Lube Technician to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, fluid top-offs, and basic inspections. This role requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills to ensure customer satisfaction and vehicle safety. The Lube Technician will play a vital part in maintaining the operational efficiency of vehicles and supporting the overall service of the store.

Duties

- Perform oil and filter changes efficiently and accurately using hand tools and power tools
- Conduct fluid top-offs such as coolant, transmission fluid, and windshield washer fluid
- Inspect vehicles for potential issues and communicate findings to customer
- Assist with basic maintenance tasks including tire rotations, battery checks, and belt inspections
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and ensure proper disposal of used fluids and parts
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and recommending additional maintenance when appropriate




- Support the team by identifying customer needs for additional services or products
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues and assist senior technicians as needed

Experience

- Dealership experience or previous mechanic experience is highly desirable
- Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in automotive repair processes
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment effectively
- Customer service experience is preferred to ensure positive interactions with clients
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely (up to 50 pounds) during various tasks
- Knowledge of automotive systems, maintenance procedures, and safety protocols is advantageous
