Job Summary
Role: Relief Pharmacist
Location: Northern Alberta
Start Date: October 5
Contract Length: 6 Months
Hours: 40 hours per week
System: Healthwatch
Compensation: $100 per hour
Responsibilities
- Accurately verify and dispense prescriptions
- Provide patient counselling and clinical pharmacy services
- Administer injections as required
- Support patients receiving OAT (Opioid Agonist Therapy)
- Collaborate with pharmacists, pharmacy assistants, and support staff to maintain efficient workflow
- Ensure compliance with all provincial regulations and professional standards
Qualifications
- Licensed Pharmacist eligible to practice in Alberta
- Injection certification required
- OAT (Opioid Agonist Therapy)
experience/certification required
- Experience with Healthwatch is an asset
- Strong communication, organizational, and clinical skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
