- Assist with the daily handling, collecting, sorting, setting and transfer of eggs
- Assist in hatching and vaccinating chicks manually or with the help of equipment
- Assist in delivering chicks to the farms
- Maintain cleanliness and disinfection of hatchery tools and equipment.
- Support with heavy lifting tasks such as lifting and moving the trays and boxes full of eggs or supplies to ensure smooth workflow
- Operate hatchery machinery safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols
- Monitor and report any abnormalities or issues to supervisors promptly
- Follow strict biosecurity procedures to prevent disease transmission and ensure healthy stock

- Willing to work early hours and weekends.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively in a physically demanding work workplace
- Physical able to stand,
bend and lift for long periods throughout shifts
- Strong attention to detail for monitoring hatching health and maintaining accurate records
- Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Demonstrated ability to consistently arrive on time, prepared to begin work at the start of the scheduled shift
