Responsibilities
SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Manager, Maintenance Engineering, the Maintenance Engineering Technologist provides administrative, coordination, and technical support services to engineering and maintenance teams.
The role supports engineering activities related to fleet reliability, maintenance programs, procurement, and commissioning by organizing documentation, assisting with engineering drawings and models, coordinating information, tracking data, and assisting with reporting and analysis.
The position provides support to engineering staff in troubleshooting, testing, and implementation activities across diesel, CNG, and battery electric vehicles, as well as associated equipment, by assisting with data collection, documentation,
and coordination of field and shop activities.
The role supports the design, analysis, testing, and project activities in the Maintenance Engineering department through documentation, coordination, and data management functions.
Qualifications
EDUCATION:
Diploma in mechanical/electrical engineering technology with Applied Science Technologist (ASCTTBC) designation.
EXPERIENCE:
A minimum of three (3) years of previous experience in engineering technology.
Experience in an automotive, industrial, or heavy-duty fleet environment.
Mechanical and/or electrical design experience, including Autodesk Certified Professional endorsement (Autodesk Vault, Inventor, AutoCAD Electrical).
Working knowledge and hands-on experience with Autodesk Vault.

Recruitment Process: An applicant will be required to demonstrate their suitability for this position by meeting the minimum level of qualifications and experience in order to be invited into the selection process. A standard interview format will be used including general, scenario and behavioural descriptive interview questions.
Work Schedule
37.5 hours per week.

This position works predominately on-site.
Rate of Pay
Salary $7,556 - $9,062 per month (Actual salary offered will be commensurate with education, experience and internal parity).
