Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as a cook at our home for special care in Hamilton. This role involves providing l food service, preparing meals, and ensuring food safety standards are maintained.

Responsibilities including but not limited to:

- Prepare food items according to the approve menu
- Handle food safely by following proper hygiene and sanitation protocols
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and workstations
- Follow food safety regulations and ensure compliance with health codes
- Support team members in daily operations to ensure smooth service flow

Experience

- Prior minimum 1 years experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Familiarity with food handling safety standards and sanitation practices




- Strong understanding of meal preparation processes and customer service principles

This position requires a proactive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. Candidates should be committed to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality while delivering excellent service to guests.

Will be responsible for cooking lunch and dinner for residents with an alternative option, prep afternoon snack, washing dishes, serving and maintaining a clean work workplace.

- MUST HAVE A VALID FOOD HANLDERS CERTIFICATE

- MUST HAVE VALID TB TEST

- VALID CPR/FIRST AID

- MUST HAVE A VUNERABLE SECTOR CERTIFICATE

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
