ANIMAL EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED - MINIMUM 1 YEAR - MUST HAVE REFERENCE. MUST ALSO BE 18 YEARS OLD - FOR CRIMINAL RECORD CHECK, AND HAVE YOUR OWN VEHICLE.

This is a casual to part time pet sitting job, in and around Medicine Hat and surrounding areas. You must have your own reliable vehicle, with room to take up to 3 dogs safely. You will be required to commute to clients homes, to stay overnight with pets at each clients home. You might also be required to transport dogs to different locations. You must be physically able to walk 1 big dog safely, for up to an hour.

The ideal candidate would be somebody either in school, working part time or casually, or anyone looking to make some extra money. Someone without children or dogs would be the right fit for this position, as you would have to spend nights away from your own home. Applicants MUST have at least 6 months of animal experience with a reliable reference, or be interested in the dog training aspect of the job, and open to training. This job includes almost anything that might be needed with a pet; from daily walks and medications, to special feeding instructions and important details to ensure a calm and happy pet. This job offers training opportunities, is very rewarding, a lot of fun,



but it only fits a certain lifestyle.

I'm looking for somebody:

-Flexible with changes and available on shorter notice, including holidays and weekend stays.

-A quick problem solver; somebody creative to think outside of the box.

-Somebody comfortable giving different kinds of medications, OK cleaning up gross messes on occasion, comfortable with different breeds of dogs, and some different species, and somebody able to sleep in other people's homes overnight for up to ~3 weeks.

-An honest, trustworthy, and reliable person, who will work in a fear-free way with every animal.

-That can give a criminal record check with vulnerability upon hiring.

-Excellent references; work and character related
