We support all sizes of events from small community to festivals to touring productions. As well as industrial projects from backup electrical services for BC Hydro to installing temporary air conditioning services for local businesses.

Key Skills You Should Have:

- Valid Class 1 Driver's Licence
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Clean Driver's Abstract
- Minimum of 7 years of Class 1 commercial driving experience
- Extensive experience transporting trucks, trailers, and specialized equipment
- Demonstrated ability to safely reverse and maneuver trucks and trailers into confined and challenging locations
- Experience operating tilt deck trailers.
- Experience hauling specialty or oversized equipment
- Ability to accurately complete transportation and delivery documentation
- Ability to repeatedly lift up to 60 lbs.
- HIAB Crane Certification (considered an asset)
- Valid Forklift Certification (considered an asset)

What you'll do

As a member of our growing Logistics Department, you will play an essential role in supporting both our live event and industrial operations. You will safely transport equipment, stages, generators, power distribution systems, HVAC equipment, and other specialized assets to job sites across British Columbia.

Most work is located between Whistler and Hope, with occasional travel to Vancouver Island, the BC Interior, and other out-of-town locations.





Although this position primarily operates Class 1 vehicles, you will also be expected to operate Class 3 and Class 5 company vehicles as required.

Other Duties Include:

- Safely transport company equipment to and from customer sites.
- Load, secure, transport, and unload freight and specialized equipment.
- Pick up and deliver audiovisual equipment, Stageline stages, generators, heavy equipment, temporary power systems, HVAC equipment, and general freight.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Complete delivery paperwork and transportation documentation accurately.
- Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, dollies, and carts.
- Assist with warehouse operations, equipment preparation, and general logistics duties when required.
- Maintain company vehicles and equipment in a safe and professional condition.
- Represent Wild Coast Rentals professionally while interacting with customers and project partners.
