## Job Overview

We are currently hiring a *Kitchen Helper / Food Preparation Assistant* to join a busy commercial kitchen in *Orangeville*. This is an excellent prospect for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced food production environment and takes pride in preparing high-quality meals while maintaining excellent hygiene and food safety standards.

## Key Responsibilities

* Prepare fresh ingredients by washing, peeling, cutting, and portioning vegetables, fruits, and meats.

* Assist cooks and chefs with daily meal preparation and food assembly.

* Package and label prepared meals according to company standards.

* Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen at all times.

* Clean workstations, utensils, kitchen equipment, and food preparation areas.

* Follow food handling, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.





* Restock ingredients and kitchen supplies as needed.

* Support the kitchen team with general duties to ensure smooth daily operations.

## Qualifications

* Previous experience as a Kitchen Helper, Prep Cook, or Food Production Worker in a commercial kitchen.

* Comfortable using kitchen knives and food preparation equipment safely.

* Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

* Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

* Experience in catering, meal production, or high-volume kitchens is considered an asset.

* Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.

* *Own reliable transportation is required*, as public transit is limited in the area.

* Full-Time Hours
