Everest Academy is seeking an experienced Physical Education Teacher to fulfill a full-time position with our Strength & Conditioning Team for the 2025-2026 academic year, and potentially onwards.

Responsibilities:

Teacher to carry out their duties as assigned by the administrative team – Principal, Vice Principal, Director of Strength & Conditioning, and/or General Manager in the following areas;

- Physical Education curriculum and instruction
- Assist with the implementation of specialized strength and conditioning program
- Assessment and writing report cards
- Assist with the development and implementation of critical school initiatives
- Parent and community engagement
- Student leadership and development
- School spirit activities




- Participate in team or department meetings
- Contribution to newsletter updates
- Communicate with the administrative team
- Reporting on and monitoring of critical initiatives
- Assist with teacher duty roster
- Create and organize fun/theme days for the Everest Community

Qualifications:

- Ontario Teacher Certification, with Additional qualifications in Physical Education, or related courses
- Strong knowledge of the Ontario curriculum and Growing Success documents
- Strong communication and collaborative skills
- Experience with strength & conditioning programs is considered an asset
- Experience with coaching youth is considered an asset
- Passion for teaching and supporting extra-curricular activities
