Boyd Equipment Ltd is looking to hire a Certified Heavy Equipment Service Technician to join their growing team! If you are dedicated and have extensive mechanical experience, we would love to hear from you.

Requirements

- 10 years minimum experience
- Ability to operate and repair heavy machinery
- Capability to lift 25 kg’s
- Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract
- Red Seal Certificate

Responsibilities

- Adjust, clean, repair, and service all jobs necessary to satisfy customer needs
- Communicate well with customers over the phone and in person
- Complete warranty jobs on machinery
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance
- Test and repair equipment
- Travel to customer jobsites to perform service on their equipment
- Install attachments and parts




- Regular maintenance of shop area to help keep clean and organized
- Record part numbers and attachments taken out of inventory
- Report all problems and complete documents as required
- Respond to service requests
