Job Summary

Interlink Physiotherapy is growing, and we are seeking a a dedicated and energetic Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will assess, plan, and implement personalized rehabilitation programs to help patients regain mobility, reduce pain, and improve overall quality of life. You will work with all areas of pain and injury, including WSIB and MVA patients.

This is a part time, independent contractor position with the opportunity to transition to full-time.

About Interlink Physiotherapy

We are a physiotherapy clinic in Ancaster that prioritizes personalized patient care. We offer free one-hour initial assessments for all new patients, same-week booking and direct billing. Each patient receives a unique plan that caters to their needs, goals and lifestyle. Our services include rehabilitation, orthotics, compression stocking, cupping, ultrasound, and shockwave therapy.

Duties

- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical conditions, including mobility, strength, and pain levels.
- Develop and execute tailored treatment plans utilizing manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as ultrasound and shockwave therapy.
- Focus on combining education with passive and active treatments.




- Maintain detailed documentation of patient progress, treatment sessions, and clinical notes in accordance with healthcare regulations.
- Submit reports for WSIB and MVA patients.
- Monitor patient responses to therapy and adjust treatment plans as necessary to maximize effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with medical terminology standards and uphold the highest standards of patient care.

Qualifications

- Have completed a Master of Science in Physical Therapy and be in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. Must have independent liability insurance.
- Hands-on experience providing physiotherapy services in pediatric or pediatric-related environments is highly desirable.
- Strong background in patient care, demonstrating adaptability and professionalism.
- Robust communication skills and ability to connect with patients, families and the healthcare team at Interlink.
- Prior experience working with patients recovering from surgery, injury, or illness, is necessary. Prior with with WSIB and MVA injuries is an asset.
