About Us

Maple Sarap Lounge is a busy restaurant offering a unique fusion of Filipino and Canadian cuisine. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Cook to join our team.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure food quality, presentation, and consistency.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen.
- Monitor food inventory and assist with ordering supplies.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Assist with menu development and daily specials.
- Work cooperatively with other kitchen staff.

Qualifications

- Previous cooking experience in a commercial kitchen preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.




- Ability to work efficiently in a quick paced environment.
- Robust organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Requirements

- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 kg.
- Food Safety Certification is an asset.

Compensation

- $18 an hour
- Staff meals and employee discounts.
