We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our Salty Blonde team. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for meal preparation and assembling a variety of bagel sandwiches, deep fried dishes, and other small plates.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients and cook food according to recipes and menu specifications
- Assist in the setup and stocking of cooking stations
- Ensure that all food is prepared in a timely manner
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth workflow
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Food safety certification is a plus
