- Estimate, Plan, assign and supervise daily activities for all workers
- Prepare and maintain production schedule
- Optimize shop workflow to complete jobs in an effective and timely manner
- Ensure production quality is achieved for all items
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Provide training to all shop workers on safe working procedures
- Interview and evaluate and mentor new hires
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience as shop foreman or supervisor in structural steel fabrication industry
- CWB Supervisor certificate is an asset
- Team player with strong organization communication and leadership skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (word, excel)
- Results oriented
- Sharp attention to detail
- Written and oral communication in English
