Green Peaks Roofing is looking for a motivated and experienced shingler to join one of Ontario’s fastest-growing roofing teams. This hands-on position is ideal for a skilled roofing professional who takes pride in quality craftsmanship, works safely and efficiently, and thrives in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

- Install asphalt shingles and complete residential roofing projects to company specifications
- Inspect, measure, prepare, repair, and weatherproof roofing surfaces
- Remove existing roofing materials and prepare roof decks for installation
- Install underlayment, flashing, vents, drip edge, and other roofing components
- Perform accurate cutting, fitting, sealing, caulking, and finishing work
- Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and roofing equipment safely
- Read and follow project plans, measurements, and job instructions
- Load, unload, lift, and position roofing materials and equipment
- Identify damaged materials, installation concerns, and potential safety hazards
- Maintain an organized and secure job site
- Follow all company procedures and applicable safety requirements
- Work closely with crew members to complete projects on time and to a high standard
- Assist with related repairs and general construction tasks when required

Qualifications

- Proven professional experience installing asphalt shingles




- Solid knowledge of roofing systems, materials, flashing, ventilation, and weatherproofing
- Confidence using roofing hand tools, power tools, ladders, and safety equipment
- Ability to measure accurately and follow plans and job specifications
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Dependable, punctual, hardworking, and able to collaborate effectively
- Comfortable working outdoors, at heights, and in changing weather conditions
- Physically capable of climbing, bending, carrying materials, and performing heavy lifting safely
- Strong awareness of workplace and job-site safety
- Reliable transportation to job sites is an asset
- Valid Working at Heights certification is an asset
