Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Equipment Service Technician to join our team in Simcoe. This position involves servicing a wide range of equipment on our rental fleet. The successful candidate will also support service calls and occasional work at our Tillsonburg location.

Responsibilities

- Diagnose and repair heavy equipment (e.g., excavators, compaction rollers, skid steers) and aerial lifts (e.g., boom lifts, scissor lifts, telehandlers).
- Perform regular maintenance, inspections, and safety checks on all rental equipment.
- Respond to service calls in Simcoe, Tillsonburg, and surrounding areas.
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
- Ensure work meets safety and quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members.

Qualifications

✔ Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with heavy equipment and/ or aerial lifts




✔ Robust knowledge of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems
✔ Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
✔ Ability to work independently and manage service calls
✔ Good communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Assets

- Heavy Equipment Technician Certification or equivalent trade qualification
- Experience with brands such as Genie, JCB, Skyjack, Bobcat, Hyundai, etc.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures (e.g., fall protection, lockout/tagout). Safety training will be provided.
