Blackbird Baking Co. is seeking Full Time Front of House employees to work at our retail locations including Kensington Market, St. Lawrence Market, Riverside and our recent Annex location.

We are seeking bread enthusiasts to join our ever growing team. The job perks include:

The ideal candidate is someone who:

- Is able to work weekends, both morning and/or evening
- Weekend availability is mandatory (Saturday and Sunday)
- Has at least 1 year of previous customer service experience (food industry preferred)
- Is interested in the artisan bread baking and pastry process
- Has excellent time management skills and can multi-task
- Can work independently and as part of the team
- Has the ability to lift 20kgs

Job responsibilities include:

- Customer Service
- Accurately describing and selling the bread and pastry items we produce




- Cash handling, transactions, reconciliations, and deposits
- Maintaining the general cleanliness of the bakery
- Merchandising retail items

Shifts are 8 hours long, start as early as 5.30am and end as late as 7.30pm. Weekend availability is a MUST!

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
