Job Description: Line Cook (FT/PT)

Company Overview:

Elise, a new neighbourhood restaurant situated on the ground floor of the Post House Westboro by Azure, in Ottawa’s trendy Westboro neighborhood. With seating for 52 guests indoors and an additional 22 guests on the seasonal patio, Elise offers a French-inspired dining experience - casual, simple, refined - while emphasizing local and seasonal ingredients.

We are seeking enthusiastic, team-oriented individuals to join our restaurant team.

Position: Line Cook

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes and standards.
- Ensure the highest quality of food presentation and taste.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an independent style of restaurant.
- Experience in French cuisine is an asset.
- Solid ability to multitask and creatively solve problems.




- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Open to learning and being mentored by senior chefs.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
