Position Overview
We are currently seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift / Machine Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting manufacturing operations through protected material handling, equipment operation, and collaboration with the production team.
- Operate thermal laminate press line equipment (training provided)
- Safely operate a forklift to transport materials throughout the facility
- Load and unload trucks while ensuring proper handling and storage procedures
- Support inventory control through accurate material tracking and periodic counts
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure materials are delivered on schedule
- Follow all safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is an asset
- Valid forklift experience or certification preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced setting
- Effective communication skills and a team-oriented approach
- Ability to stand for extended periods (8+ hours)
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Flexibility to work occasional overtime or weekends as required
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
